We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in downtown Atlanta, possibly 2
blocks from the convention center. WOWZERS -- I've never been so pampered
in my entire life. If you ever get to the con, this is a great place to
stay!

More of our hotel room. The king-sized bed had a featherbed and
down comforter on it. Did I mention that we also got a free buffet
breakfast as well? Best breakfast I've ever had, and naturally fantastic
service as well, in a calm and pleasant environment.

This is me with Marc Gunn of the Brobdingnagian Bards, who
performed live at the con. He's quite a sweetie! See more about this
talented band at this site.

The elf costume competition on Friday night. The winner was a young
lady in an Arwen chase dress.

Emerald Rose on Sunday, in the concourse of the Hyatt. What a
great concert! See more about this great band at this site.

Emerald Rose setting up for the Evening in Bree on Friday

A trio of musketeers wandering around. They looked great.

Silver faeries at the Cruxshadows booth.

(Click for larger picture.) The SCA table at the con, with Lord
Dubhncain looking as impressive as always.
|

There were numerous takes on stormtroopers there, including
this Outback version, which I thought looked quite nice.
|
|

More stormtroopers than you can shake a stick at.
|

Definitely one of the most unusual interpretations of the
Stormtrooper look, and very nice about getting his picture taken.

|

All I have to say is, this looks very, very hot and not in
the Jennifer Lopez kind of way. Also very neatly done.
|

COOLEST BOBA FETT EVER, and so nice too!
