The Mermayde Keepe campsite, ready for the night's party.

The pavilion of our previous Baron and Baroness. You can see my tent just off to the right side. (No blowup picture.)

Ben in front of our tent.

Ben again, with a goblet, just because.

The pavilion of the new Baron and Baroness.

The backs of Lord Cathal and Sir Saavog. I suppose this is, Saavog joked, "Peer Pressure". Ben is in the background listening to them hold forth.

Heer Christoph van den Brake and Mistress Irene von Schmetterling at the rapier tournament. Marshalling is Lord Leon Jeronimo de Suarez of Thor's Mountain. In red, on the left, is Duc Orlando Cavalcanti of Bryn Madoc. Orlando and Yves faced off for the final battle, with Orlando the victor. (No blowup picture.)

Ben in court garb, on the beach.

Me in my newly modified green linen dress. My hair was done by Lady Rosalinde, who specializes in the study of medieval hairstyles.

Me in my light green linen dress, from the back.

The thrones lined up. From left to right, we have a Trimarian throne, the Meridian King and Queen, and the Baron and Baroness. (No blowup picture.)

There was a very talented juggler before court. Yes, those are Beanie Baby kittens. The juggler is Lord Muredach Dail Riata, once of South Downs and now of Tal Mere. (No blowup picture.)

Sir Saavog of South Downs in court garb. Gorgeously made, with pearls sewn all over it. (No blowup picture.)

Baron Conmaol and Baroness Ximena approach the throne, with Mistress Elspeth and Lord Cian in attendance.

Conmaol explains that as he must fight the Saracens, he cannot fulfill his obligations as Baron of South Downs. King Maximillian mulls this over.

Ximena, escorted by Lady Elspeth, brings one last gift to Their Majesties.

The Honorable Lord Borgar and his wife, the Honorable Lady Lorraine, are crowned as new Baron and Baroness of South Downs.

In one of the more mystifying events to occur at this court session, the Kingdom Seneschal, Shair Fiachna, who heralded the court, brings out another side of his personality, Goat Boy. (No blowup picture.)
